You may enter two desserts. You can win in more than one catorgy.
* We are pulling out all the stops for the Pumpkin Dessert Baking Challenge! Bring your best, because the winning prizes are going to be outstanding.
All recipe cards will be kept by Pumpkin Show organizers and will be on display in a large scrapbook in 2011. Your recipes will be added to the free pumpkin booklet that will be printed and given out at the festival.
Free Sampling to festivalgoers starts immediately after judges have recieved samples of all the entries. Awards will be announced at 4:00pm
You must be present to reiceve your prize & ribbon.
- All entries must use fresh or canned pumpkins., Pumpkin seasoning is permitted in any entry along with canned or fresh pumpkin.
- Entry must be created or baked by you! No store bought products.
- A panel of judges will sample each entry. Judges will be looking at the presentation, taste, texture and appearance. Entries will be scored and the winner with the highest score will be announced.
- Awards and announcements will be made at 4:00pm. Participants must be at the awards to win prizes. A group picture will be taken and posted on the Pumpkin Show web site.
- All entries will be cut up into bite size pieces for the general public to enjoy at no cost. You must bring enough for judges! Example: One large sized pumpkin pie, one large size pumpkin roll, at least three dozen cookies if making cookies.

- You must provide the judges with your recipe! Please print this recipe on an index card. These recipes will be posted on the web site after the Pumpkin Show closes October 10, 2010. Please list who or what cook book you found your prize winning entry. If it is an original, mark this on your recipe card.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- All entries will receive a ribbon for participating.
- Free to Enter Contest. But general admission is required to enter the festival. You will be given free passes for Sunday for participating.
